SUMMARY:Thriving Together Abroad | Online Launch Event
DESCRIPTION:Growing up in a diplomatic family brings wonderful opportunities\, but also unique challenges around friendships\, belonging\, identity and repeated transitions. \nJoin us for the launch of Thriving Together Abroad\, a new e-learning resource designed to support the wellbeing of children and young people growing up in Irish diplomatic families. \nDeveloped in partnership with Jigsaw\, Ireland’s youth mental health charity\, and supported by IFAFA\, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and Vhi\, the resource is designed primarily for young people aged 12–17. It offers practical tools to help young people navigate international moves\, changing friendships and the challenges of building a sense of belonging while growing up abroad. It also helps parents better understand their children’s experiences and how to support them through successive postings. \nDuring this online event\, we’ll introduce the resource\, explore its key themes and demonstrate how families can access and use it. \nJoin us to discover how Thriving Together Abroad can help young people and their families navigate the challenges of diplomatic life. \nRegister here \nEmail us if you have any additional questions\, and we look forward to seeing you there!\nKind regards\, \nMarco Neumann\nIFAFA Secretary
